# Why Do You Love Cats?

Cats are cute, soft, hygienic, quiet, independent (that's not always a bad thing!), intelligent, sweet, caring, and just great. I'm a proud cat mum and I have made this shrine to share love to cats.

# Why Should I Love Cats?

1. They're naturally clean and take care of themselves, so no daily baths needed (unlike dogs)
2. They make excellent roommates: quiet, small, and mostly self-sufficient
3. They provide endless entertainment :)
4. Their toe beans
5. They're warm!! What else would you need??
6. They teach patience and respect for boundaries due to their relatively independent nature
7. They look absolutely majestic doing absolutely nothing 💅
8. They make your home feel cosy and alive - even when they're asleep 18 hours a day

# Care Tips

1. Always provide fresh (flowing if possible) water
2. Feed a balanced diet suitable for your cat's age, health, and lifestyle
3. Keep their litter box clean
4. Schedule annual vet checkups, even if your cat seems perfectly healthy
5. Brush your cat regularly to reduce shedding and prevent hairballs (especially long-haired breeds, but not just! my cat LOVESSSSSSS being brushed btw)
6. Give them vertical spaces like shelves or cat trees
7. Provide scratching posts to protect furniture and satisfy their natural instincts
8. Play with your cat every day, keep them entertained
9. Respect their boundaries
10. Keep toxic plants, foods, and chemicals safely out of reach
11. Give them cosy, warm spots to nap
